We are Andrew and Jayme Robinson. Parents to 3 kids, wranglers of chickens and one wild pup, lovers of the ocean and wide-open spaces.  Early on in our marriage, we knew we wanted to work together in some capacity. After 6 years and 2 deployments in the Air Force, continuing education, countless moves and various careers things began to fall into place for us to get to work on our dream. After watching one leather craft video, Drew was hooked on the idea of working with his hands and romanticized by richness of leather.

In 2019, we started Driftwood as a side job.  Drew would work his weekly rotation as an EMS helicopter pilot and then spend his week off crafting leather goods, while Jayme would handle all the home life happenings, communicate with customers and share our goods on social media.  It was a hectic and busy time for us, but one required to bring us to our decision to go full time in April of 2022.  Life is short and our children are only little once.  So, we decided to stop burning the candle at both ends and start living a more intentional life.  One made up of magically, mundane moments and stories that could fill a book.

Driftwood Leather Co. was born out of a true passion to create goods that were built to last with clean and classic design ideas. Not only last but stand the test of time and tell stories of their adventures.  Our hope is that the pieces you purchase from us will become a catalyst for telling the stories of your incredible life.  Just like a piece of driftwood, leather weathers and changes over time leaving the carrier with something richer than the day they purchased it. Call us crazy romantics, but we think that’s pretty dang special.
